Connecticut’s Paid Leave Authority Participates in Community Events to Inform Residents about the Benefits of Paid Leave
Authority Announces October Event Participation
WHAT: Connecticut’s Paid Leave Authority will participate in a series of events to help employers, employees, sole-proprietors, and health care providers better understand the Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA), and to provide the latest updates and useful information relating to the Connecticut Paid Leave Program.
WHO: The CT Paid Leave Authority’s mission is to provide employees pathways to accessible paid family leave benefits. We also empower employers, administrators, and health care providers by offering helpful tools for understanding their vital roles and providing support to navigate our program. For Connecticut employees, the Connecticut Paid Leave program offers income replacement benefits while taking leave to address personal and family health needs. For employers, this program provides the tools and resources to promote a happy, healthy, vibrant, and inclusive workplace and comply with state law.

WHY: The CT Paid Leave Authority’s goal is to provide frequent and clear information that enables Connecticut’s workforce to easily access paid family and medical leave benefits while supporting Connecticut’s businesses in administering benefits.
